Campaign Statement: I am seeking a position as FMA Executive Board Member-At-Large. My freelance work has included performing in jazz combos, wedding bands, cabarets and at business convention events. I have also toured with several Broadway shows. I continue to teach privately and at varied institutions.
Currently a member in good standing for a decade with Local 325 San Diego, I have worked as a member, of a variety of Locals across the country, including Local 47 (Los Angeles), Local 72-47 (Dallas/Fort Worth) and Local 802 (New York City). In addition to performing in productions at The Old Globe and La Jolla Playhouse, I have participated in CBA negotiations with both venues. Serving on these committees, and Local 325’s Long-Range Planning Committee has afforded me a view into the inner workings of our union.
I am interested in helping to promote the interests of Freelance musicians, and look forward to doing so.
